Walnut Dining Table (8-seater).  190cm x 70cm x 50mm.  Steel bracing and Spider legs.  £1675

This is the original piece of walnut - straight from the tree.
This is the first cut - to take one live edge, flip it to the other side and create the river
It didn't come out of the mould clean - lots of flattening and planing here
Routed off the melamine and started flattening both sides. Not bad.
This is the flattened slab. The lines are from the router. Lots of sanding now to get them out. But the slab is now flat both sides - progress.
Getting towards the end now.
Carefully cutting channels for the legs to fit flush, and to insert 4 steel strengthening bars. Next - oil treatment to the underside. Fit the bars. Fit the legs. Work on the top!
